A tour through 9000 years of history under Place Saint Lambert
Under the Place Saint Lambert
The current installations under the square show us the size of the former Cathedral.
Metal pillars mark the width of the inside of the building; the nave and the bays are represented on the ground in darker stone. Where they intersect, red disks symbolize the location of the columns. Concrete blocks show where the buttresses separated the side chapels. The cathedral extended beyond the national road in the eastern choir, that now corresponds to the Tivoli block.
